TEAM WORK = SUCCESS
What an absolutely fantastic day of footy for our club today! From the first whistle to the final siren, one thing echoed loud and clear across every game: TEAM WORK. I had the privilege of watching all our home games, and I couldn’t be prouder of what I witnessed on and off the field.
Every player who pulled on our club colours today gave their all—not just for themselves, but for their teammates, their coaches, their families, and our amazing supporters. It was a powerful reminder that footy isn’t an individual sport—it’s a team sport through and through. And when we unite with a shared purpose, communicate, support each other, and fight for every contest as one, incredible things happen.
Today, that spirit of togetherness shone brightly. Wins were earned, lessons were learned, and pride in our club grew even stronger. This is what our culture is all about—respect, commitment, and unity.

After a fun week of training, learning new tricks, and plenty of laughs, our U8s they ran onto the field with big smiles and even bigger determination!
From the very first bounce, they zoomed around like rockets, passed like champions, and chased every ball like it was the grand final. There were high fives, happy dances, and lots of proud faces—on and off the field! – Well done, legends!

Bright-eyed and buzzing with excitement, our awesome U9s hit the field today ready to show the world what they’ve been working on—and WOW, did they deliver! These athletes were, calling to each other, kicking with purpose, and passing like pros. Every single player had a special job to do, and they did it with heart, hustle, and HUGE smiles!
Great job, U9s—can’t wait to see more magic next weekend!

Our mighty Under 10s were the first to hit the ground at Sweeney Reserve this morning, smashing through the chilly air and lighting up Oval 2.
There were booming kicks, fearless chases, smart plays and some truly epic team moments. The crowd was buzzing, the coaches were proud, and the players? Absolutely unstoppable.
Well done U10s—you turned up the heat and brought the action!

On a frosty Sunday morning, our fearless U11s stormed into Cranbourne, brimming with energy and ready to battle it out! From the first ruck contest they showed heart, hustle, and unstoppable passion. The kids gave it their all, fighting for every ball and never backing down. Cranbourne proved to be a tough opponent this time around, but our young guns walked off with heads held high and fire in their bellies. With their trademark determination, they’ll hit training hard this week—ready to bounce back even stronger next weekend!

NWJFC’s Under 12s showcased their trademark resilience and exciting style of play in a thrilling encounter against the Narre South Saints. The team came out strong, taking an early lead with sharp ball movement and solid defensive pressure.
Despite a determined pushback from the Saints, NWJFC held their ground, demonstrating composure and teamwork under pressure. Their ability to stick together and play smart footy saw them finish the match on top, sealing a well-earned and gracious victory.

Fired up after last week’s loss and fuelled by a relentless week of training, the NWJFC U13s stormed into their clash against Rosebud with something to prove. The energy was electric as the team proudly unveiled their premiership flag, igniting a fire that blazed throughout the match. From the first bounce, they brought fierce pressure, explosive pace, and rock-solid teamwork. They overwhelmed Rosebud with wave after wave of attack, refusing to take their foot off the pedal. Every player stood tall, and their unity on the field turned into a force too powerful to stop.

The U14s came in fired up, hungry for the clash with Cranbourne after a week of intense, no-nonsense training. Every drill, every tackle, every sprint was fuelled by one goal—victory.
This tight-knit group didn’t just show up—they stormed the field with fire in their eyes and grit in their boots. Shoulder to shoulder, they backed each other through every tackle, every mark and every goal. When the final siren sounded, it was more than just a win—it was a statement!

Closing out the day with power and purpose, our U14 Girls took the field—and they weren’t just there to play, they were there to dominate. This team has grown not just in numbers, but in sheer determination, and it showed.
From the first whistle, they made their intentions clear: this season, they mean business. With sharp teamwork, cool composure, and relentless drive, they left Pearcedale Baxter chasing shadows. A fierce performance that proves—they’re not to be taken lightly.
Congratulations to all our teams for an exciting round of football! We can’t wait to see you all back in action for Mothers Day next weekend!
