Grand Final Review 2024

This weekend was a momentous occasion as we gathered to witness our talented U12s and U13s compete in the most crucial games of their season – the GRAND FINAL.

The atmosphere at Casey Fields was electric, filled with anticipation and enthusiasm from both our gifted teams and their devoted supporters.

Our talented U12s took to the field with excitement and determination, ready to celebrate their teammate Chace Wood’s 50th game. They faced off against a formidable opponent in Clyde, a team they had encountered four times previously this season. With their sights set on maintaining their top spot on the ladder, our 12s displayed their resilience, teamwork, and dedication. After being down by a point at halftime, they battled back to tie the score by the end of the third quarter. The fourth quarter was a thriller, with our team scoring a late goal to secure the win and capture the coveted PREMIERSHIP CUP. 🏆

With a special mention to Portia Miller who won the medal for best on ground for the game. Congratulations Portia, you had such an amazing game and worthy winner.

FINAL SCORE 2. 7. 19 v 1. 2. 8

Our U13s embarked on an exhilarating match against Cranbourne, marking the third time these two teams have clashed in the 2024 season. Our young athletes took to the field with unwavering enthusiasm and a burning desire to showcase their ever-evolving skills and teamwork. Despite a challenging first half, their solid defense and midfield pressure in the third quarter demonstrated their unrelenting determination. Unfortunately, Cranbourne was equally resolute and emerged victorious. Nonetheless, we extend our warmest congratulations to this remarkable group of young players for advancing to the grand final. Their remarkable growth and resilience are a source of inspiration to us all
